This past April, during the Easter school break, the Grow Together Foundation hosted its very first day camp designed especially for children — and it was a beautiful success.

Held on Holy Thursday at the Parish, the camp welcomed elementary-aged kids for a full day of joy, learning, and community. Guided by our dedicated team of bilingual volunteers, the children enjoyed a variety of activities: from creative crafts and lively games to playground time and a special treasure hunt that led them through the hidden corners of the church. Each moment was designed to spark curiosity and prepare their hearts for the celebration of Easter.

The highlight of the day came when Don Luigi gathered the children for a moment of prayer. The room was filled with a sense of wonder and togetherness — a truly magical atmosphere that reminded us of the deeper meaning of the season.

Our first children’s camp left us inspired and grateful, and we look forward to creating more opportunities for our youngest community members to grow, learn, and share faith together.

My kids loved spending the day at the Parish and keep asking when they can go back! They came home with new friends and a deeper understanding of the meaning of Easter. I’m so grateful for this opportunity and will definitely sign them up for the next children’s event.
