The Grow Together Foundation was founded in December 2024, inspired by the vision of our President, Don Luigi Portarulo. Originally from the Vatican, Don Luigi moved to New York in 2022, where he has since been guiding and supporting the city\u2019s vibrant Italian congregation.<\/p>\n

Blending Italian tradition with the energy of New York, Don Luigi quickly realized that meeting people only through church services was not enough to build the deeper sense of community he envisioned. He gathered a small group of close friends and trusted advisors to establish a non-profit foundation that could go further \u2014 creating spaces to connect, support one another, and strengthen bonds rooted in shared Catholic faith.\u00a0<\/p>\n

What began as a small circle of dedicated volunteers soon expanded into a growing movement. Today, the Foundation offers educational programs for children and families, sports activities, Italian and English language courses, and practical support for those navigating life in a complex city like New York \u2014 with much more still to come.<\/p>\n
